In August 2020, doctors at Lucknow’s base hospital told Brigadier NS Chaarag who was admitted to the hospital after a hit-and-run case that had left his both legs fractured and intestines ruptured. that he may never be able to cycle again.
But within three and a half years something unbelievable happened.
The brigadier led a 13-member NCC girl cadet contingent on a 3600 cycling expedition from Kanya Kumari to New Delhi.
While he was in the hospital for 52 days for multiple surgeries, the brigadier told himself that he would do his best to recover fully to resume his passion.
