Sukino’s rehab care centres offer rehabilitation for people who had undergone treatment for cardiology, oncology, nephrology, neurology and orthopaedic conditions. The centre also provides physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, etc.
Sukino multi disciplinary rehab team consist of a full time general physician, 10 physiotherapists, ICU trained nurses and skilled caretakers. The physiotherapy team works towards rehabilitation of individuals with physical impairment and pain, while focusing on future injury prevention. We also provide occupational therapists for patients whose functional abilities, daily activities and independence have been impaired by illness, injury or aging. The patients are taught to adapt to their social and physical environment by mastering tasks essential for daily living. For those patients who have an impaired communication, swallowing and cognition, the centre offers speech therapists that provide a range of interventions to help restore the patient’s abilities in these areas.
Rehabilitation is a recovery process and is varies from one condition to other. At Sukino, we provided all round support that helps patients in speedy recovery.
The Sukino centre is different from a hospital. We want our patients to feel right at home. Hence, we don’t restrict visitors and family members in coming and spending time with the patient. Your care partner or family member is welcome 24 hours a day. Others are welcome from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m, as long as they don’t have have a cough, fever or sore throat. Children of any age may visit the facility provided they are accompanied by an adult.
